Youth Advisory Board

The Youth Advisory Board is a group of students selected from Teen Talk New Jersey partner schools and youth organizations. These young leaders help shape program activities, share feedback and elevate the voices of their peers.

Teen Talk New Jersey partners with schools and youth organizations across South Jersey to promote personal responsibility, self‑regulation, goal setting, healthy decision-making and healthy relationships through evidence‑based learning. If your child participates in the Teen Outreach Program® or Love Notes curriculum, you may already be familiar with Teen Talk New Jersey.

Students who serve on the Youth Advisory Board act as youth ambassadors for South Jersey. They create messages and projects that are shared with the New Jersey Department of Health. The mission of the Youth Advisory Board is to empower young people, amplify their voices and strengthen the connection between the New Jersey Department of Health and youth in our communities.
